My daughter and I both go here and we love the service and results!
You get what you pay for. Yes this will be more expensive than a Great Clips, but the stylists are very skilled and the salon has a comfortable, personal feel. Additionally, you can form a relationship with your stylist and they will give you better service as a result; they will get to know your hair and your style.
I write this knowing I may be squeezing myself out of my fave day/time appts...but this place is AMAZING! When I left NYC 15+ years ago I struggled to find a decent hair stylist in Denver. I tried Cherry Creek, downtown, and eventually Belmar. If Christa ever moves out of state I will put my house on the market and go where she goes. She's talented, personable, reasonably priced, not to mention super cute and funny.
I can't say enough about the professional treatment I received from Christa. She worked with me to find the right color for my hair. I came in with faded light brown, over-highlighted hair and she transformed it into a rich brown shade with beautiful highlights. She did her magic!
I'm surprised at the pricing of Jennifer's hair cuts and other cost. Seventy dollars for a hair cut + tip, I would expect a five star rating... not so. One hudered dollars for a perm (Oh My Gosh) not a 5 star rating. Cost of hair product, over $12 more then on Amazon for same exact product, pretty much over the top on cost with a rating of one star. Do they think we don't check on prices other then the salon prices? Yes, it's a convenience but let's not take advantage of your customer. On top of that they are not eager to make their time work for the customer and told that getting a hair cut at the same time with an other service that I would have to come an other time. As I read other customers reviews on this matter.....it makes me wonder if they end up with more tips and costing the customer more. Sensitivity to the customers schedule is imperative, they are also busy. I did not complain at the time but I am now!! By the way, protocol, you do not need to tip the owner....especially with high prices like this. I don't live in Hollywood or Cherry Creek.
