2nd day In after the fuel pump test the tech wants to switch out the fuel pump. Again, I appreciate the proactive attitude, but it just felt like they wanted more money.
I was expecting more comprehensive diagnostic information, so I could use the data to do the repairs myself.
Fred and Dan tried to charge me $360 to replace a shifter cable on my car, when I supplied the part myself. Fred looked me directly in the eyes and said that "there was a lot more to it than I thought." These guys are a COMPLETE ripoff. Go elsewhere.
Overall, and in retrospect, I should have been more clear that I wasn't sure if I actually wanted repair work done on the truck by a repair shop, as I am inclined to the do the repair work myself. What I really wanted was a professional opinion, with the data to back it up; which they did provide somewhat, and it has led the way to areas where I can do repairs myself. Ideally, I would have liked the diagnostics to be complete first, then have an itemized list provided so I could decide if I wanted to proceed with repair work with the shop.
I had been recommended this place by a co-worker. So I decide to come here as my 92 ranger is having performance issues.
I've been taking all personal and company vehicles to this shop and referring people here for 10 years or more. I've always received personal, professional service and advice. When I find any company that operates with the highest integrity and charges a fair rate I bring my business there.

1st day my truck is in, I get a call from a tech who says he wants to perform a tune up on my truck before proceeding with other tests. I thought of this as kind of pushy. We agree to do a fuel pump test. In retrospect I'm still not sure why they didn't wait until they had conclusive results before informing me. Something felt rushed about it.
Extremely disappointed. I understand that I took my car in for an oil change, but the least they could have done was wash their hands before they went inside my car. I had just gotten my car detailed for work and now I have to get it cleaned again because there is oil all over the door handle and wheel. I should of paid a little more and went back to the dealership.
(I ended up taking my car to a different shop, and they charged me $75 for the same repair.)
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPLETE RIPOFF REPAIR. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND VEHICLE ELSEWHERE!
Outstanding people. They are reasonable, helped me fix a problem with my truck and they care about the customer satisfaction. I walked in with a problem and walked out with relief. Prices could be high in some instances but they took care of me very quickly. I'm glad I brought my vehicle there.
I come in for an initial diagnostic, as I don't know if I want to proceed on repairs or not. Simply put I like to do repair work myself. I had told them a number of issues I was aware of for the ranger, and the front desk tech noted it all.
