Did photo memorial on DVD and it worked without any problems. They did a very nice job creating a lasting memory for our family.
Had my Brothers memorial service here. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They have a nice chapel and parking is spacious. Handicapped accessible entrances as well.
It's unfortunate that I feel Aspen Mortuary was trying to make a few extra bucks on something so sensitive.
My mother was cremated in Aspen Mortuary at the Lakewood location almost 3 years ago. It was extremely disheartening to find out that I was going to be charged $15/urn to transfer ashes from one large urn to four 3 tbs. sized urns. If I was comfortable doing this on my own I would but it's kind of a sensitive issue dealing with human ashes.
I made a call to Horan and McConaty. A funeral home that has zero connection with my mom and was told they will transfer the ashes for me at no charge. And there should never be a charge for something like this.
I've never seen a body preserved so poorly. Broke my heart to see him in that condition. He was green! :*-[
