Always a treat going here. They always have the wine I'm looking for and we have discovered a few new favorites. Good store with good people and great prices.
Always a great experience shopping here. They have a great selection of just about every category of alcohol. Competitive prices and they are one of the few places carrying a decent selection of German wines.
I know it looks a little sketchy on the outside being on colfax and all, but inside it's classy. Prices are just right, too. I chuckle at the sales flyers for other liquor stores in the Sunday paper since the prices at Philnor are better to start with. As a native, I love my beer and whiskey, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better selection of either. Local craft, imported macro, they even try to keep Japanese whiskey and Oregon craft beers on the shelf. If you've never been there, you don't have to park along Quail then back into traffic to leave, drive around back and there's a big parking lot to the West!
Very friendly staff, they often do wine tastings, sometimes they have really good sales. They have a nice distilled spirit selection, I wish the beer selection was more expanded, but the wine selection is sizable. Not exactly the most upscale liquor store, but it's usually busy and the service is great here.
We worked with this store for a large order for our wedding. The pricing was fantastic and the communication with the staff and owner was ideal. Best liquor store we've been to.
