Top notch customer service. I was looking for a new sofa sleeper& thought I would just see what they had in stock. I was greeted at the door then the manager took us around the store showing me all my options. He took time to answer all my questions & helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Huge store with a great selection. I purchased my new sofa sleeper and they even delivered it to my home 2 days later. I would recommend AFW to anyone looking to purchase new furniture.
Update: You will notice the manager takes zero ownership over the behavior of his staff or any issues they caused. The discount offered was 1.5% off our total order which I think most would find insulting.
Sales people are not pushy at all, which is so nice! I've gotten a couch, bookshelf, and night stand from here, all of which are great! We decided to rent a truck from them ($20 for 75 minutes) to bring our stuff home ourselves instead of delivery. The truck was not in the best shape, but we made it there and back with plenty of time to spare. The warehouse guy gave us an extra 15 minutes for free just to be safe! Awesome service, great furniture, decent prices! We're going back to get a dining room set soon :)
I encourage people to take their business to another company. My wife and I started off on a positive note, but things quickly dropped off. We had to bring a manager into our situation for some help, but it was almost 5pm, time for her to go, so even though we were spending several thousand dollars, she didn't want to be bothered.
We were lucky and there when they had several sales people wandering the floor. We bought 2 sofas and a loveseat. Sales woman was efficient. We already knew what we wanted. I have been there and at their other locations when you couldn’t find anyone to help you and on a weekday.
I've always believed, you get what you pay for - and here's another fine example. Good luck if you take the risk.
Nothing screams professionalism like trying to publicly blame a customer for your failures as a leader and manager.
I later received a call from the GM of the store. This individual spoke about how the other manager could do no wrong and how wonderful she was. In the end, he basically did nothing to make up for our bad experience or retain our business.
We complained about a small arm chair table but no one seems to care. Customer service asked for me to email them and they would check into it. No one has gotten back to me or even acknowledged the email I sent along with my phone number. Poor customer service and a very poor quality piece of furniture. Restocking fee is 15% so be sure you know what you're getting before putting money down.
Funny how as soon as I posted this someone from customer service called. I told her that I was in the cancer treatment center so I couldn't talk but if they would call back in a few hours or the next day, I'd be free to talk. Of course no one called. That was almost a week ago. I guess I need to change my rating to a total zero.
