Downsides are no activities in the lake except for fishing. Lots of goose poop at times. Mosquitoes got me real good last time.
An outstanding playground with lots of fun things for kids of all ages. Also a nice walking path for adults and families as well.
We make this park a weekly outing with the kids, they like to skate board but there are lots of older folks walking their dogs as well as for cleaning up after them. This park is right next to a condo location where there are a lot of retirees living. All the people we have come across have been nice (being that the passing rules are followed....meaning stay to the right when someone running or riding a bike can pass on the left. This is also being courteous and respectful to others.
Excellent views along the whole path. It's a 1 mile loop making it easy for exercise timing and tracking. There's an amazing garden near the parking lot as well. It's basically a mini Botanic Gardens!
Very nice park wide sidewalks and a great playground for the kids just wish there was some picnic tables close to the parking lot
Beautiful park, fun fishing, nice to walk around the lake. Often people will walk here with unleashed dogs. I understand that they may have verbal control on their dogs, as I do with mine. But it is rude and unthoughful to scare other people and other dogs by doing this.
