"The Dr STILL has not gotten back to us."

The last three times I have tried to fill my prescriptions, this office either refuses to or is unable to contact the pharmacy. When I go to the pharmacy they tell me they are waiting on my Dr.'s office to call, (It has been at least 3-4 days at this point). I know they are telling the truth because the pharmacy has called the Dr.'s office in front of me. I then have to call the Dr.'s office (have waited on hold as long as 12 minutes). I was told by their staff, "Our phone system isn't working, we are not getting calls from pharmacies." A month later, apparently the problem is not fixed. This time I have been trying to get my medications, (that I have been taking for years) refilled for a week and a half. I have not received any phone calls from the Dr.'s office explaining why they wont allow the refill. The result this time is that I'm leaving on vacation sans meds because this office did not call pharmacy. I'm now looking for a new Doc.

"We're waiting on your Dr to OK the Rx."

"We're still waiting on your Dr."

So if you go into the pharmacist around 10a expect to be able to pick up the Rx 3-4 hours later.

On a side note, the ladies in allergy are fantastic, Lynette (I hope that is the spelling) is amazing and goes the extra mile to work with insurance companies and Dr. Cheung is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

Dr Spencer has been a great doctor for many years but getting an Rx filled is like pulling teeth. EVERY trip to the pharmacist goes like this:

Then I have to call the Dr and tell the office to do their job.

Great primary care physician. I'm not from Denver or Colorado but in my old city doctors were limited and far more expensive. You would make an appointment and expect to wait over 3 hours until the doctor is ready to see you. With Mile High Family Medicine I can book an appointment on the same day and always see the doctor on my appointment time, no waiting. The receptionist is always friendly and the doctors are professional.

I moved pharmacists thinking it was their fault. NOPE!

People on this are far too harsh. I have been seeing the doctors here for about 3 years and they always work me in same day if they can and the service is great. Some of the people reviewing this are in pain and may not have been stoked with the speed of service or whatever but I go often and I can tell you, the team tries their hardest to give the best care.

These are some of the kindest, most compassionate, and excellent doctors! Dr. Laura has been my doctors for years and she is wonderful! I highly recommend this practice.

Then, inevitably, I get one or two more, "We're still waiting on your Dr," comment from the pharmacist.

Make your own judgement call after you see them.

In my experience people from Colorado can be so spoiled and self-entitled.

No longer a patient as I do not have the patience!
