It is a great place to hang out with friends and family, a little on the expensive side but it's all you can eat. The food can use a little improvement but it makes up with the entertainment. There is live music, plays, and people doing flips into a waterfall/pool. There is also an arcade with hours of fun and a flash to the past with old games like space invader and donkey Kong. This entire building is also under ground. I would say if your new to the place I would recommend this place. Full of nice people and entertainment.
Ha! Where do I begin. The wait was SUPER long. Like we were standing in line for a ride at an amusement park. Then when we got in, they sat us in the seats farthest away from the "action" as possible. We couldn't see anything that was happening.
We had a blast!!!! Def a new favorite. The food is basic but unlimited so super filling. The shows were fun and the entertainment through out is like no other. I was the coolest mom ever bringing my kids. Must go in Colorado.
Then there's the food. Don't even get me started on what the begin pass as "cheese". I will say this though, the extra food that they bring out to you when you order the deluxe meal is drastically better than the initial food they bring you.
Between the South Park episode and the description given by my Denver friends, I made a point to visit Casa Bonita during my visit to Denver. Everyone told me the food is HORRIBLE. It wasn't bad. I thought it was halfway decent for food served cafeteria style. The overall atmosphere was great. Kind of smells like chlorine everywhere due to the diver's pool. Cool place for kids. Glad I went. Probably won't go again, but wow, what an experience.
Absolutely love this place! I have been going here with my family since I was young. We took a vacation every summer and we would always make sure we went to Casa Bonita. They have good food you get a show consist of jokes, a gorilla, diving into a 13 foot pool, an arcade which hasn't changed since I was a kid and I'm 30 now. They have all the classic arcade games. Photo booth that takes old time photos. They have puppet shows, a gift shop and the interior you will fall in love with it's like your in a cave in a small Mexican town.
All in all, I'll never be going back, unless some friends just recently watched the South Park episode of Casa Bonita, and they just NEED to go. And even if that happens, I'll be going to the food truck outside.
